They grow.
Keep the little things.
A first smile. A favorite toy. The funny little things they do. Save photos, short videos, and a few words at a time, without needing to fill out a whole album in one sitting.

Start with their arrival.
Sign in and choose Start a baby book + in your library. Create a collection for your child, or use an existing loved-one collection you own. A relative can invite you to one the family has already started.
Add the child’s name and your relationship. Birth date and time, weight, length, birthplace, family names, and an arrival recollection are optional. You can add or edit details later, and continue without a first photo.
Baby books are managed by an adult parent, guardian, or someone with their permission. Starting one does not create an account for the child.
A little update can mean a lot.
Add a photograph, a short clip, or a few words each week—or whenever you can. Tell the story behind the picture in your own voice: the new expression, the family visit, or the lunch that ended up everywhere.
Use stories for recorded recollections, seeds for things you want to ask about, and Moments for photos or clips with descriptions. Family members with approved access can contribute, too.
A reminder for each little person.
Set an optional weekly email or text reminder for a particular child. Choose the day, time, and delivery channels, with a link back to that child’s collection after sign-in. Two children can have separate schedules.
You choose whether the child’s name appears in the reminder. Verify your own contact details and save your opt-in; creating a baby book does not turn reminders on. Explore weekly reminders.
You can start late.
Bring in photographs you already have. When a supported photo contains a readable original capture date, the browser can suggest it. Check the suggestion before accepting, or enter a date yourself.
The photo’s date is separate from the child’s birth date. Missing or unsupported metadata can be entered manually. Your collection can grow from the memories you have already saved.
Make a book when you are ready.
The collection owner can choose stories and selected Moments for a family storybook, download a PDF for free, or order a professionally printed book separately.
Annual books are something you assemble and review with the current book builder. Automatic yearly book assembly and milestone suggestions are still being developed. Starting a baby book does not create a subscription or place a printing order.
A few more questions.
Does the book have to be updated every week?
No. Weekly updates are a helpful habit, and occasional or monthly additions are welcome. Keep the memories at a pace that works for your family.
Can grandparents contribute?
Yes. Invite them to the existing collection through approved family access.
