1. Check the print files
A temporary file link lets Lulu retrieve only these two sample PDFs. It expires after 24 hours. Validation is tied to the exact file hashes and selected paperback product.
2. See the estimate

Imprint adds $10 per book. STORIES5 takes $5 off the whole order once, regardless of the number of copies. Sandbox estimates include Lulu’s reported tax; live customer tax and payment fees still need configuration. An estimate is not a charge.
3. Test the order
Repeated submission of the same quote reuses the existing order. An uncertain result is held for reconciliation; it is never blindly retried.
4. Test PayPal checkout

Get a fresh estimate above, then approve a test checkout. Pay with a Personal sandbox buyer account from PayPal’s Developer Dashboard. Your Business sandbox account receives the pretend payment.
The server confirms the captured amount, merchant and approved book before creating its Lulu test order. Pending or uncertain payments stay on hold. Avoid the manual Create sandbox test order button for a quote you want to pay through PayPal.
