A keepsake that tells a story.

Make yours

1. Open the person's collection or recorded stories in the full app.
2. Choose Create a story keepsake under a recording you contributed, or one in a collection you own.
3. Choose a round ornament or gift tag. Pick ready-made Christmas, Hanukkah, autumn, Easter, or celebration artwork, or use your own photo. Add a short caption.
4. Choose who can play it, then create the printable keepsake.
5. Download the print sheet, or choose Print / Save PDF. Print at Actual size / 100%, with browser headers and footers off.
6. Cut out both sides, glue back to back, punch the small marked hole, and add ribbon. Test the printed QR code with your phone before gifting it.

Your photo and caption stay in your browser and are included in the downloaded sheet. Save the sheet before closing if you want to reprint it later.

You choose the access

Family access required is the default. The person scanning must sign in with an account that already has access to this collection. The code does not invite or approve new members.

Anyone with this code lets someone play this one recording without signing in. Choose this only with permission from the people in the recording. Anyone who sees or receives the code can use it. It does not open the rest of the collection.

The printed photo and caption are visible to anyone holding the keepsake.

Change your mind?

Open Create a story keepsake again and find Codes for this recording. Choose Disable code, then confirm. Every copy using that code stops opening the recording. The story itself and other keepsake codes stay in place. Disabling a code cannot recall a recording someone has already saved.

Codes have no automatic expiry. Playback depends on Project Imprint and the original recording remaining available. Keep your downloaded print sheet to reuse the same code; making a new keepsake creates a separate code.
