A little reminder from Emmy
An optional weekly nudge to tell a story, check your family’s memory seeds, or both.
Email and text reminders are available. Choose either channel, or both.
- Sign in and choose My reminders in your library.
- Confirm that the contact details belong to you, request a verification code by email or text, and enter the six-digit code. Email uses your account’s address. For text messages, enter your own mobile number with its country code.
- Choose Enable this weekly reminder, your topic, day, local time and time zone. Select email, text, or both.
- Read and select the reminder consent, then choose Save this reminder. The next scheduled time appears below the form.
Codes expire after ten minutes. Use the latest code; five incorrect attempts lock it. Requesting a new code pauses that destination until you verify it and save your choices again.
Your choice, your schedule
No one is enrolled automatically. Reminders go only to contact details you verify for your own account. Times follow the time zone you choose, including daylight saving changes. If a chosen time does not exist during the spring clock change, that week’s reminder shifts forward by the clock change. Arrival may be delayed if a delivery service is unavailable; a long outage does not produce a backlog of missed weekly messages.
A reminder for each child
In Remind me to, choose Provide a brief weekly update for [name]. Each living baby-book collection you own or have approved family access to has its own reminder. Set its day, time, time zone and delivery channels, then save. Repeat for another child; the schedules do not overwrite each other or your general story reminder. Two children can receive separate reminders at the same time, with a unique link to each collection after sign-in.
Select Include this child’s name to name them in the email subject, message and text. The preview shows the wording. Leave it unchecked for a general baby-book message with the same child-specific link. New reminders offer names by default; reminders moved from the earlier single-child layout keep names off until you choose otherwise. Birth details and media never appear in reminders.
The Your saved schedules list lets you return to each schedule. Changing the dropdown loads that schedule’s saved settings; save edits before switching. Pause this reminder leaves the others running; Pause all reminders stops every schedule. Lost family access or an unavailable baby book pauses only that child’s reminder.
Pause or stop
Choose Pause all reminders to stop future weekly sends across your general and baby-book schedules. You can also change the channels and save. Each email contains a link to turn off all email reminders for your account without signing in. Reply STOP to stop Imprint texts; queued Imprint messages are cancelled when that reply reaches the service. An SMS STOP does not stop email reminders. Replying START permits texts again, but does not re-enable your weekly schedule: return to My reminders and save your choices.
A message already sent or handed to a delivery service may still arrive. Message and data rates may apply to texts.
Your stories stay in Imprint
Reminders contain general suggestions and a link to your library or chosen baby-book collection. A child’s name is included only when you select that choice for their reminder. Private recordings, transcripts, birth details and seed contents are not included. Opening the library still requires your usual sign-in. Unsubscribe links can only stop that reminder channel; they do not grant access to your account or stories.
Facebook Messenger reminders are not available yet. Sharing a family invitation through Messenger is a separate feature.
Every leaf, a story.
